The Marches Academy Trust is celebrating a growing programme of youth clubs delivered in partnership with the 4 All Foundation, marking the first time in Shropshire that schools and a charitable foundation have worked together in this way to run youth provision directly from school sites.
The partnership has been established to help keep children and young people safe, active and engaged outside of the school day by offering accessible, high quality youth clubs rooted in local communities.
Youth club programmes are currently running from Tilstock CE Primary School, Longlands Primary School, Oakmeadow CE Primary School, Marches School and St Andrew’s CE Primary School. A new programme is also planned to launch shortly at West Felton CE Primary School, extending the reach even further.
By delivering youth clubs from familiar school settings, the partnership removes barriers to access, including transport, cost and confidence, while providing trusted, safe spaces for children and young people to take part in positive activities, build friendships and develop life skills.
The collaboration between the Marches Academy Trust and the 4 All Foundation is focused on early intervention and prevention, supporting wellbeing, improving engagement and offering meaningful opportunities at key points in young people’s lives. The programmes are designed around local need and shaped in partnership with schools, families and communities.
Sarah Finch, CEO of the Marches Academy Trust said: “We are incredibly proud to be working alongside the 4 All Foundation to deliver these youth clubs from our schools. This is about more than activities. It is about keeping children and young people safe, connected and supported, and making sure opportunities are accessible to all.”
The 4 All Foundation works closely with local partners to deliver inclusive community programmes that respond directly to need. Through this partnership, youth workers are embedded in communities, building strong relationships with children, families and schools.
As demand continues to grow, both organisations are committed to expanding the programme and ensuring more communities across Shropshire can benefit from school based youth provision.
Families and community members will be kept informed as new clubs launch, with details shared via school websites and local communications channels.
