Meet Natalie
Natalie is an English specialist with extensive experience in teaching, leadership and school improvement. As a subject leader, she led her English department to achieve results in the top 5% nationally for five consecutive years.
She went on to become a Specialist Leader of Education for English before moving into the role of Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning. During this time, the school improved from ‘Satisfactory’ to Outstanding, with Teaching and Learning at the heart of that journey.
Natalie later became Director of Teaching and Learning within a growing trust in Coventry, and then Headteacher of an inner-city school. Under her leadership, the school moved from ‘Special Measures’ to ‘Good’, with outcomes rising significantly and exceeding national averages, particularly for disadvantaged children.
Alongside her headship, Natalie worked as a system leader across her trust and the local authority. As a National Leader of Education, she has supported and developed many leaders and headteachers over time, helping them to grow in confidence and expertise.
Natalie recently joined Marches Academy Trust as a School Improvement Partner and now also holds the role of Associate Executive Director of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning and Standards. She is deeply committed to school improvement and driven by a strong belief in transforming education for all children.
