Recently The Marches School invited pupils from the surrounding areas to our Summer Open Evening. Prospective pupils and their parents/carers had an opportunity to look around the school and take part in a variety of activities.
A great number of creative workshops were available for our visitors to take part in which included a Science show, fun interactive mathematical and geographical games, baking, language games, print making and even a Drama performance!
Mrs Pearson, Headteacher, delivered a presentation during the course of the evening in which she explained our school values and some of the exciting array of activities that students at The Marches enjoy. Mr Kemble, Head of Year 7, talked to parents about the excellent pastoral care the school offers and ways we help to transition students into secondary education.
Our newly appointed Head Girl and Boy took the floor to discuss their experiences at The Marches and current Year 7 students gave an insight into their time at school so far.
