A huge well done to Shrewsbury Academy who are the first school in The Marches Academy Trust to now hold the Rainbow Flag Award! The award is a national quality assurance framework, that focuses on positive LGBT+, inclusion and visibility assessed by The Proud Trust.
To be in receipt of this award Shrewsbury Academy had to evidence an inclusive curriculum, demonstrate pastoral support, show how they support parents and governors, demonstrate how their teachers are skilled in this area, show their effective policies and demonstrate how they incorporate student voice.
