The Marches Academy Trust Executive Team is delighted to announce the appointment of Nia Evans and Rob Jones as joint Headteachers at Criftins CE Primary School.

Their appointment follows a successful period during which they undertook interim leadership roles at the school. Following a formal interview process, Nia and Rob have been appointed permanently, recognising their strong leadership, experience, and deep understanding of the Criftins community.

Nia and Rob bring a wealth of knowledge in primary education and are committed to securing the very best outcomes for all children. Both are well known within the school and are passionate about supporting staff, strengthening collaboration, and building on the many strengths already in place.

Criftins Primary School continues to be supported by a dedicated team of staff who know the children and families well. The joint Headteacher roles will enhance partnership working within the school, enabling shared learning and consistency, while ensuring Criftins retains its unique identity and sense of community linked with a strong Church ethos.
