This week The Marches Academy Trust held its first ever Varsity event for the Sixth Forms in the Trust. In kind partnership with Shrewsbury School, the event saw The Marches, Sir John Talbots’s and The Grove Sixth Form students compete in a cricket tournament.
This was a great opportunity for students across the different sites to come together, network and have some friendly competition. It was brilliant to see the teams showing such excellent sportsmanship and the day was enjoyed immensely by all.
Each of the games were extremely close but The Marches team managed to claim victory. A huge well done to them!
We are looking forward to getting the Sixth Forms together again in the near future for more fixtures.
