Meet Julie

B.Ed (hons) NPQH

With over three and a half years’ experience as a headteacher within the Marches Academy Trust, Julie brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. She has previously held trust positions overseeing Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and Safeguarding. Julie’s extensive background as a SENDCo (Special Educational Needs Disability Coordinator) contributes to the strategic direction of the MAT Outreach Services.

About Julie

Driven by a passion for education, Julie is committed to delivering high-quality and impactful expert support and guidance to schools and services. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom, as she is also the Senior Lead for SEND and Alternative Provision Change Programme at Shropshire Council, working in partnership with the Department for Education to pilot changes across the county.

In her leisure time, Julie maintains an active lifestyle, participating in various sporting classes including spin and running. She also enjoys cooking international meals and cooking outside.
