To end summer 1 term, students from several schools in the Trust (Tilstock CE Primary School, Lower Heath CE Primary School, Longlands Primary School, The Grove School, The Marches School and Sir John Talbot’s School) came together at the Civic Centre in Whitchurch for our Trust’s first ‘Big Sing’ event.
It was a really joyous day with staff who attended saying how they felt “the happiness exuding from the event”. Our children and young people were so enthusiastic to be participating in this cross-Trust event that was a little different to the other experiences we put on across the Trust.
A huge congratulations and thank you to Mr Calderbank and Mr Stonall from Sir John Talbot’s School for organising the event and well done and thanks to all the staff involved who supported the choirs. All those who participated are promising to continue making the event happen and building on the experience for all.
As a Trust we are already looking forward to the next Big Sing event! Check out some of the snippets from the day, including each school’s solo performance and finally a joint final song where everyone performed ‘Rule the World’ together!
