Great improvements celebrated by Idsall school following its latest Ofsted Report

Idsall School is proud to celebrate the progress and improvements highlighted in the recent Ofsted inspection conducted on November 12 and 13, 2024. The school was praised for its ongoing journey of improvement, with a clear recognition of the hard work and commitment of staff and students alike.
Ofsted acknowledged the significant progress made by the school, with a particular focus on the ambitious curriculum that has been developed to meet the needs of all children and young people. The school’s leadership team was commended for successfully navigating a period of significant challenges, ensuring that the best interests of children remained at the heart of every decision.

The report noted, “This is a rapidly improving school. The school has developed an ambitious curriculum. Behaviour at the school has improved considerably in recent months. The school has been careful to take the right steps in the right order to secure sustainable improvement.”

The school leadership is delighted with the feedback, particularly the recognition of the strong leadership and management, which has seen a marked improvement in both behaviour and attitudes across the school. With these foundations in place, Idsall School is committed to continuing its journey toward excellence.

Headteacher, Michelle King commented, “We are pleased to see the hard work of our dedicated staff, children, young people, and parents reflected in this positive inspection. The report demonstrates the great strides we’ve made in recent months, and we are excited to build on these improvements as we continue to provide the best possible education for our children.”

We are immensely grateful for the collaborative spirit that defines the school. Together, we are creating an environment that fosters learning, growth, and a sense of belonging.
