Meet Ashley

BA(Hons), QTS, M.Litt, MA(Dip). NASENCO, NPQH, IPSEA SEND Law Levels 1, 2 and 3; CPT3A and Pupil Premium Reviewer.

Ashley has a range of educational leadership experience including in SEMH and PRU provisions. Committed to inclusion and multi-agency working, Ashley has led teams and participated in several change/improvement programmes and audits.

Ashley co-ordinated SEND outreach across a local authority, preventing permanent exclusions and has previously been commissioned to undertake SEND and safeguarding reviews.

Ashley has also led literacy development, participated in research and delivers a range of CPD. She is an experienced DSL with a significant safeguarding history in social care, local authority and educational contexts.

Ashley has worked with a number of alternative provisions; commissioning, supporting curriculum, SEND and safeguarding – undertaking a comprehensive programme of quality assurance.

Ashley serves as a governor and Chair of Governors for two primary settings, one with an additional needs resource base. She is a Lead Performance Coach to NPQSL candidates and a NPQH coach.
