Meet Arthur

Arthur spent his working life with BT in Coventry, London and in Oswestry where he was a senior manager responsible for planning and operating the national transmission and switching network and was involved in developing and implementing a new national network management centre in Oswestry.

He was Chair of Governors at The Marches School and a founder Member and Chair of Trustees of our Academy Trust – and has been closely involved in it’ progressive development. He also served as a Governor at North Shropshire College where he chaired the finance committee.

Over the same period, he was involved in many local Community projects and initiatives as a Parish Councillor and Borough Councillor, and as a member on Shropshire Council from its inception as a unitary Council.

About Arthur
